Two men were beaten up Sunday morning in LaSalle. LaSalle police says they were first called to the 200 block of 8th Street. But after an investigation they found out the incident happened near 2nd and Bucklin Street. Police says a 39-year old man has been stabbed and was taken to St. Margaret’s Health Peru. He was later taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria with non-life threatening injuries. A 49-year old man refused medical treatment. The incident remains under investigation. Police say the incident was isolated. Anyone with information can call the department at 815-223-2131.
