Ottawa earned special recognition in one category at the America in Bloom contest. The city earned the distinction in the Celebrating Heritage category. Two judges from America in Bloom visited the city in June. The results were announced over the weekend at the America in Bloom symposium in St. Louis. Ottawa’s effort in the annual contest is called Ottawa is Blooming.
