November could be the month for the second murder trial for a Varna man accused of shooting and killing an Oglesby man in 2015 with a razor-tipped arrow. 29-year old Bradley French was scheduled to go to trial this month but his attorney Maureen Williams had some more evidence to look over. She told Judge H. Chris Ryan Thursday that she believes she will be ready for the November trial date set. Ryan set another status date for October 20th. French was serving a 30 year prison sentence after his first murder trial. But the Third District Appellate Court in Ottawa ruled that French should have been able to have more of a self defense claim and sent it back.
