The LaSalle County Health Department is offering flu vaccines with no appointment needed. They will be available at the department starting Wednesday from 1 to 4 pm. Residents can also walk in on October 4th from 1 to 4. Vaccines will be given in the vaccination trailer located next to the COVID testing trailer in the health department parking lot. High dose vaccines are also available for residents 65 years and older. They also have vaccines for kids who are enrolled in CHIP or the Children’s Health Insurance Program. A seasonal flu shot will also be offered for $25 while High Dose shots will cost $62 dollars. If you purchase one of those shots, the health department will only accept an insurance card and a photo ID.
