LaSalle County Maintenance Director wants more power for jury commission office

LaSalle County Maintenance Director Robert Kaminski wants to try and bring more power to the jury section at the Etna Rd. Governmental Complex. He says a couple weeks ago, a power pole was hit at a car dealership near the Walmart in Ottawa and caused the power to turn on and off in the jury section. He told the County Board Property Committee he wants to try and tie the section into a generator on the buildings east side. He says the jury commission already gets a lot of phone calls and has a lot of important information. Kaminksi also asked if Jury Coordinator Rose Meyers can get on a call list so she can be called in if the power goes out so she can come in and check her equipment. Chairman Don Jensen also says he will talk to the IT Department about it.
