Hegeler Carus Mansion has a new way of training docents. Executive Director Cindy Waddick says it’s entirely online, because it can be hard to get everyone together for an in-person class.
The docents are all volunteers. Waddick says now’s a good time to start training them. There are fewer people paying for tours over the winter, so she can put more time into training the people who will give those tours.
