The Illinois Valley Community College Board of Trustees wants to name Jerry Corcoran’s successor by the end of the fall semester. A dozen people have been named to the presidential search committee. They include three IVCC teachers, two other staff members, two of the college’s trustees, and the LaSalle County Regional Office of Education Superintendent.
The plan is to interview three, four, or five people in person. Candidates have until October 9 to apply. Corcoran’s retiring next summer.
