The design for a north side water tower being repainted in Peru will look different than before. City Engineer Eric Carls says the logo on the tower will switch from a block font to a script font. It will also have a plane and some other different colors on the tank. Carls says it won’t cost extra for the change because it was in the original bid from Putnam County Painting. The entire project will cost about $734,000. The tower is located north of Interstate 80 close to the Cabin Fever restaurant.
