Twenty-eight year old Mathew Capsel of Ottawa has pleaded guilty to charges in a federal court in connection with last year’s Capitol Hill riot. The Department of Justice says Capsel joined mobs that fought with police and the National Guard. He later posted on social media about the riot, saying good men had to do a bad thing. Capsel could get up to five years in prison when he’s sentenced on December 16th. He could also be fined.
