The Better Business Bureau wants people to watch out for scams connected to high school sports. Spokesman Don O’Brien says some websites are offering to show you a high school sports event online. But when you click through the links, you pick up malware.
Such scams were reported in North Carolina, Indiana, and New Mexico last year. O’Brien says look for the legitimate links to sports streams by contacting the high school whose team you’re following.
