Varsity Golf
Ottawa successfully defended their IVC Ghost Invitational championship over Peoria Notre Dame at Arrowhead Country Club. Jonathan Cooper finished second in the individual standings, Drake Kaufman tied for fifth and Chandler Creedon was eighth.
Marquette competed with Roanoke-Benson and Seneca at Tall Oaks Golf Club. Carson Zellers led the Crusaders with a 39, Daniel Hoffman, Ashton Grady and Ryan Peterson also competed on the day. The Irish was led by Kaleb Powell.
Streator defeated Lisle and Chesterton at River Bend Golf Course. Jaydon Nambo, Cole Park, Nolan Ketcham and Kylen Krasnican led the Bulldogs.
Seneca defeated Lisle in girls golf at The Creek Golf Course in Morris. Addison Stiegler and Jolena Odum led the Lady Irish in the victory.
Also in girls golf, Earlville lost at home to Yorkville at the Earlville Country Club. The Lady Red Raiders were led by Lexie Campbell and Kaydence Harp.
Results in Volleyball
Marquette defeated their rival Seneca in three matches at Bader Gym. Top performers for the Lady Cru were Avery Durdan, Kaylee Kaufmann, Kaylee Killelea and Eva McCallum. The Lady Irish were led by Sophie Cato in the loss.

Streator lost to Peotone in three matches. Ellie Isermann had 6 kills, 6 assists, 7 digs, and 1 ace. Bella Dean finished with 7 kills, 5 digs, 1 ace for the Lady Bulldogs.
Serena were winners over Indian Creek. The Lady Huskers were led by Paige Sexton with 14 kills, 1 dig, 3 aces and Sophie Thompson earned 15 assists, 2 digs, 1 ace and 3 blocks.
Serena tied LP 3-3 in soccer. The Huskers won it in penalty kicks. Top performers for Serena were Tanner Faivre, Richie Armour and Camden Figgins.
Girls tennis
Streator won at home over Peoria. Angelina Dellinger, Rheagan Goluba, Hope Porter, Danielle Sterner, Alex Mahan and Haley Barrett all won in singles.
Ottawa defeated Alleman and their host Geneseo. Emma Cushing and Layne Krug won in singles. The team of Rylee O’Fallon and Jenna Smithmeyer, the duo of Isabel Heimsoth and Emma Walker and the team of Makenzie Eichelkraut and Mika Moreland all won in doubles.
