LaSalle County is back up to the medium COVID-19 community spread level, according to the CDC, even though recoveries continue to outnumber new cases. The past week was another without any fatal cases, according to LaSalle County Health Department figures issued today. Nevertheless, after a week at the low level, the CDC ranks the county as medium. The current case count is 1,342. This is the fifth week in a row with a lower current case count and no fatal cases. The new case count was 249. It’s up from 192 last week.
