BCA architecture firm's image of how the expanded OHASH museum might look

Ottawa Historical and Scouting Heritage Museum to expand

Ottawa Historical and Scouting Heritage Museum Executive Director Mollie Perrot doesn’t know yet how much it’ll cost to expand the museum. But she says now’s the time to get started. A 3,200 square foot addition will house a 1922 fire engine visible from the outside through big glass windows (similar to LaSalle’s fire engine display) and provide room inside for more exhibits. That’s if certain approvals are given by the city.

The museum is well known for showing the history of scouting, but also shows other things from Ottawa city history.
