Insurance agent Robert Hasty wants to be the next mayor of Ottawa. He announced his campaign yesterday. He’s promising “true transparency” on city spending and to research ways to lower the cost of living.
Hasty says Ottawa needs a vision for the future for generations to come. He says he has relationships with many people in the community and a reputation for being honest and able to get things done.
Hasty will face incumbent Dan Aussem in April.
