For a long time, people in Utica have said they need a sidewalk on the west side of Clark St. The chance to get one may come through a state grant. A hearing at Village Hall at 6:30pm on Thursday, September 8 will come ahead of a grant application that’s due September 30th.
Mayor David Stewart says a sidewalk there has been on his list of things to accomplish.
There’s a sidewalk on the east side of Clark, which is also Illinois 178. Stewart says crosswalks will be part of the project.
