A motorcyclist died at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Peru Wednesday evening after he was hit by a pickup truck. The crash happened on U.S. 6 by Interstate 39. Thirty-three year old David M. Whitmore of Mendota was in the crash just before 4:30 Thursday afternoon. LaSalle police say no one else was hurt.
