The city of LaSalle is partnering with GovPilot to transition some paper documents to digital documents. The cloud-based government management software will allow businesses and residents access to the documents online. The program will first add Landlord Registration, Shelter Registrations, Parks and Recreation Activities, Contractor Registrations, and FOIA requests. Economic Development Director Leah Inman says the city believes that businesses and residents should be able to interact conveniently and efficiently as they do with other digital experiences. She also says paper and other outdated software was becoming too costly.
