Ottawa Elementary School Supt. Michelle Lee says the fifteen year facility plan for the district needs to be updated.
Board Pres. Brendan Donahue and Board Member Mary Ganiere agree that the board should participate in the new committee. Ganiere also talked about grant opportunities that could bring air conditioning to Lincoln Elementary School. The topic could be discussed in the new fifteen year plan
However Lee says competitive grants are hard to get. And she says the goal of the committee is to look at all the schools because they all need some work done. She also wants Maintenance Director Mark Tabor and Office Manager Chris Torres involved in the process.
