The first day of school for the Ottawa Elementary School District is August 31st. Dr. Michelle Lee will be superintendent for her first year.
She says it’s different because she was in charge of two districts with a lot less people. She says she’s looking forward to putting students first and getting them the opportunities they need. She also says compared to last year, the school will not have any strict COVID-19 protocols. Former Supt. Cleve Threadgill retired earlier this year.
