Illinois Valley Community College’s Board of Trustees has approved a budget with expected revenue of $37.5 million. It anticipates a revenue increase of 8%. Most of that is because of $4.1 million in pandemic relief funds. Expenses are expected to go up by 13% to $39 million. And most of that is related to pandemic relief, including amounts paid to students. College President Jerry Corcoran says the school’s in great financial shape with zero debt and no tuition increases for five years.
