By WCMY News Aug 13, 2022 | 5:00 AM

High schools that sell pork chop sandwiches at their football games can enter the Illinois High School Association’s Pork and Pigskins Championship contest again starting Monday. Normal Community High School won the Golden Spatula award last year for the best pork chop sandwich. Tracie Henry, the Assistant Executive Director for the IHSA says it honors the work of people who help make the football games so good to be at.

More than 100 schools entered the contest last year, including Seneca High, Hall, and St. Bede. The Illinois Pork Producers Association is putting on the contest with the IHSA.
