Rate increase of about $300 per month approved for LaSalle County Nursing Home

Staying at the LaSalle County Nursing Home will cost about $300 more per month starting in December. The County Board approved a $10 per day increase for each room rate. That brings the charges to $207 per day for a private room, $203 for an expanded semi-private room, and $195 for a regular semi-private room. The rates are increased every year to get more Medicaid reimbursement money. If the federal government is willing to pay more, the county has to charge more to get it.
