It’s still almost three months until the election. But county clerks across Illinois are already taking applications for mail-in ballots. LaSalle County Clerk Lori Bongartz will send you an application if you’re on her voter roll. You can ask to be on the permanent mail-in ballot list so you don’t have to fill out a new application every election.
County clerks start taking mail-in ballot applications today. The first mail-in ballots will be sent to voters on September 23rd.
