Cathy M. Watson, 71 of Streator passed away Tuesday (August 2, 2022) at the OSF Center for Health, Streator.
A visitation will be held Friday (Aug. 12th) from 4 – 6 PM at the Winterrowd Funeral Home with a time of remembrance at 6PM. A private family burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Cathy was born on March 19, 1951, in Streator to Robert and Grace (Olesen) McMillin. She married Robin Watson on October 12, 1973.
Surviving is her husband Robin of Streator, sons, Christopher (Joseph) Watson of Aurora and Robb (Elizabeth) Watson of Streator, grandchildren; Lauren, Raine, Lydia, Brighton, Eli Watson, Cassie Fink and Cody Watson, great-grandchild, Rylie, sisters, Sherry Murray of Streator, Linda Boatman of Normal several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Boston.
She is preceded in death by her parents, son Jason, granddaughter Kaylah Watson and a sister Judy Tovar and her beloved dog Charlie Rose.
Cathy graduated from Woodland High School in 1969 and she attended IVCC. She was last employed at Teleperformance in Streator.
Memorials may be made in her name to either the St. Jude Children’s Research or Boston Terrier Rescue.
