Whoever was being looked for in a farm field southeast of Ransom, the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Department hasn’t said yet. Nor has any information come out about what happened when police reported possibly finding the man. LaSalle County residents were alerted Saturday afternoon about a man with a shotgun in the Ransom area. About three hours later, an alert went out saying police believed they had identified and found him.
