TBM Avengers Chairman Cary Miller says this year’s event was an exact copy of last year, including the weather. He says although everything was great on Friday, it was a tough decision to call off the event on Saturday. He says there were some great plans for Veterans, including the honor walk.
But although it was rained out, Miller says it was the most organized event the Avengers have had. He says he wants to bring back the same team that did a Friday air show as well as a B-17 bomber that gave rides. He also thanked Peru City Council members and other volunteers that gave their time for the event.
Next year, Miller says the reunion events should be similar.
