About a dozen LaSalle County schools will have school resource officer services from the sheriff’s department. Deputy Felicia Rasmussen has been assigned to it full time after a decade of working with schools. Sheriff Adam Diss says he’s grateful that the LaSalle County Board supports the much-needed opportunity to expand services to schools. Rasmussen is also known for work with the Christmas 4 Kids program.
