A $2.5 million grant is being awarded to the City of Ottawa for improving E. Stevenson Rd. The grant will provide roadway and drainage improvements help to help current and future businesses that use the road. The Economic Development Administration says 592 jobs are expected be created, 425 are supposed to be kept, and it’s expected to generate twenty million dollars in private investments.
The city will have to match two million dollars. The money is coming from the American Rescue Plan pandemic relief funding bill.
