The public can go to more open houses to find out about the LaSalle Link project. Ameren Illinois plans to build a new transmission line from Oglesby to Utica. That’s to improve the reliability of electric service. As customers use more electricity, the power needs more pathways to travel on. The open houses are at The Auditorium Ballroom at 109 Wright St. in LaSalle from 5pm to 7pm Tuesday, July 26 and 11am to 1pm Wednesday, July 27.
