A new program being used by the Marseilles Police Department will help improve interactions and responses with individuals with special needs. Police Chief Brain Faber says parents, caregivers, or residents who live in the city can sign up for the Special Needs Registry. He says it will be used by the police, fire department, and ambulance service as well.

He says some special needs that qualify for the registry include Autism, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and Bipolar Disorder. Fire and Ambulance services will also get the information in case someone with special need goes missing. Marseilles residents can get the registration application by clicking here.
