As more people test positive for the coronavirus in LaSalle County, the county has moved into the high community transmission category. The county health department recommends wearing a mask indoors when you’re out of your home and staying home if you’re sick.
Three more residents have died of the virus since last Friday, for a total of 485 so far. The youngest was a woman in her 50’s.
New cases since last Friday number 298 for 31,932 so far. Recoveries number 223 for 30,453. The current case count is 1,479, up for the second week.
