Kelsey J. Zoss is the woman emergency medical personnel weren’t able to revive in Mendota Wednesday morning. Police Chief Greg Kellen says police and ambulance personnel were sent to the 1200 block of Jefferson St. to take care of a person who was unconscious. The emergency services weren’t able to revive her. Zoss was 30 years old. The cause of her death is still being investigated. State Police, the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office, and the State’s Attorney’s Office are involved in the investigation.
