A special meeting is being held by the Marseilles City Council. Council members could approve purchasing electricity for the city’s facilities. Mayor Jim Hollenbeck would help create the contract on the city’s behalf. It’s at Marseilles City Hall Wednesday starting at six.
The city hopes that if the Illinois Valley Cellular building is purchased, the 100-year-old city hall building and police station can be relocated.
