Gov. Pritzker says Illinois’s red flag law could be better. A frequent criticism from gun owner rights advocates is that enforcement of laws already in place should come before new laws. Pritzker says state law requires an agreement from family members before taking weapons out of households where someone is dangerous. He says that’s why it didn’t work before the Highland Park Independence Day parade shooting.
