Mayor Dominic Rivara isn’t the only one concerned about the proposed layout for a parking lot in the 200 block of E. Walnut St. Traffic would go in from Walnut St. and leave through the alley. A few people at this week’s city council meeting told the council they think it’s a bad idea.
At a meeting last month, Rivara was the only City Council member objecting to hiring Chamlin and Associates to work up a cost estimate. With a different layout, there would be less room for parking.
