Twenty people will be chosen for the Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Academy. Executive Director Bill Zens is looking for people from a variety of business types in the area so it’s a diverse group. They’ll meet for all-days sessions once a month for eight months.
The cost is $1,500 for IVAC members and $2,000 for non-members. Zens says it’s such a big commitment because he wants everyone to get a lot out of it.
Applications are due August 12th.
