A police chase ended in a crash at 5:45pm Friday in Peru. Witnesses say the chase went down the newly reopened Wenzel Rd. It ended when the vehicle hit a tree near La Quinta Inn off Venture Dr. near Interstate 80. An ambulance was called to treat anyone injured. Police have not yet said whether anyone was arrested. We contacted the Peru Police Department but they didn’t have anything else to say at this time.
