Updated with Win Stoller’s response to the results
The winner in the Illinois Senate 37th district Republican primary appears to be Win Stoller. He’s an incumbent and faced challenger Brett Nicklaus. Stoller’s lead is 470 votes out of more than 21,000 cast and counted in 12 counties.
Mail-in votes postmarked before election day and arriving up to two weeks after election day are counted before results are certified. Stoller’s confident the results mean he’s returning to Springfield for a second term. He doesn’t know yet if he’ll have a Democratic challenger.
