The body of a man was pulled from the Fox River in Ottawa Tuesday evening. Ottawa Detective Sgt. Kyle Booras says the incident happened near the 100 block of E. Jefferson St. after someone reported the man’s body floating in the river.
The Ottawa Fire Department was also called to assist. The name of the person is not being released while the next of kin is being contacted. The incident remains under investigation and an autopsy will be completed Wednesday.
