A car crossing Illinois 18 west of Streator Friday morning was hit by a truck. That was deadly for the car’s passenger. The car’s driver was flown to St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. The truck driver was treated at the OSF Streator emergency room. LaSalle County Coroner Rich Ploch’s office says the crash happened at E. 14th Rd. and Illinois 18. The names of those involved aren’t available yet.
