The Illinois Department of Transportation says construction will be done on the Buffalo Rock State Park entrance near Ottawa starting on Monday. IDOT says the project will include reconstructing a retaining wall along the entrance as well as new pavement, gutters, and guardrails.
Traffic will be reduced down to one lane and will be controlled by signals during the project. It’s supposed to be completed by this fall.
