Volunteers for Ottawa First will collect donations for the 4th of July Fireworks. A donation drive will be held Saturday from eight to one at the intersection of Norris Drive and IL 23. Fireworks shows are costing more this year because of supply chain issues.
Ottawa Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jeff Hettrick says people can donate online as well this year. You can find a link to donate here.
Hettrick also says there will not be a raffle this year. The fireworks will be launched from King Field at Ottawa High School on July 4th.
