The Oglesby City Council is hiring Chamlin and Associates to estimate the cost of a parking lot on city property in the 200 block of E. Walnut St. Mayor Dominic Rivara cast the only vote against it. The design calls for an exit to the alley behind Ruppert Construction. Rivara doesn’t think a public parking lot should exit into an alley. An entrance and exit onto Walnut St. would leave less room for parking.
