New law lets students take dual credit college courses, even if they get only high school credit

A newly signed state law says high school students can take dual credit college courses, even if they’re not eligible for the college credit. St. Sen. Sue Rezin hopes it leads to more course offerings. She says some students have been turned down when they wanted to take a college course for high school credit, because they would get only high school credit. Those students didn’t qualify for credit from the college for various reasons.
