Because of his four-year prison sentence, a separate shoplifting charge against a Justice, Illinois man was dropped. 28-year-old Kyle A. Buss pleaded guilty last week to robbing the Oasis gas station in Ottawa in February.
Prosecutors decided to drop the shoplifting case against him because of his prison sentence. Buss used a bottle to look like a gun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the gas station. He was found at another business not long after.
