A single vehicle motorcycle crash early Sunday morning has taken the life of a Streator man. LaSalle County Coroner Rich Ploch says 51-year old Eric A. Davis was driving his motorcycle at the intersection of Glen Ave. and Walnut St. when he lost control and possibly hit a fixed object.
He says Davis was taken to St. Margaret’s Health in Peru where he was pronounced dead. The Oglesby Police Department and the coroner’s office is still investigating what happened. A forensic autopsy was conducted today and results are pending.
