Julie Kerestes is retiring from the administrator’s job at the LaSalle County Public Health Department. Christine Pozzi will start in that job Monday.
It’s been 21 years in the top job for Kerestes. She started at the department when it was new in 1987.
Pozzi started there in 1992 and worked her way up. She’s been the head of the environmental health division since 2016.
