Reddick Mansion has a new air conditioning unit. And Board of Directors President Lorraine McCallister says everyone is thoroughly enjoying it.
She says the project took about two months to complete. But there were some challenges. She says the walls are solid brick, so some extra work had to be done.
She says air conditioning was installed for the comfort of guests and to help with the preservation of the antique collection in the mansion. She says she believes the artifacts could have started to deteriorate with the heat and humidity.
