The LaSalle County Health Department has reported over 30,000 know cases of COVID-19 in the county since the pandemic began. This week the health department reported 260 new cases for a total of 30,238 so far.
The county did have to remove one new case because the person lives outside of the county. There were also 100 recoveries for a total of 28,693. That means there are currently 1,545 known cases in the county.
But for the first time since April 1st, there were no deaths reported. But the last time the county was close to 1,500 current cases was in December 2021.
