Livingston County deputies look for South Streator shooter

Somebody fired a gun in the 1600 block of S. Illinois Ave. in Streator at about 5:30 yesterday afternoon. Livingston County deputies are looking for someone to question. He was believed to be driving a 2018 Jeep Wrangler. It’s purple with a black top and yellow lights on the front. Anyone who can help police find it is asked to call 815-844-0911. The sheriff’s department believes the shooting was an isolated incident involving just two people.
